Psalm 73:21-28
When my heart was grieved
and my spirit embittered,
I was senseless and ignorant;
I was a brute beast before you.
Yet I am always with you;
You hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Those who are far from you will perish;
you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make your paths straight.

- Married May 26, 2007, we currently live in Ankeny, IA. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and are passionate about traveling, canoeing, the Cubbies, and Iowa Hawkeye football.
Prayer Requests
Tumor: We continue to pray that God will completely shrink the tumor. It's gotten smaller following treatment!
Eyes: Prayers of restoration for my double vision. It's improving!
Ears: Prayers of complete restoration for my hearing. It's improved! For over five years I have had a constant ringing in my ears.
Facial weaknes: Pray that the nerve damage from the tumor will be healed. This too has improved some!
We want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, encouragement, and friendship. It means so much to us to have people praying - and many of you we've never even met! Thank you for letting us share our story with you and for taking the time to read our blog.
