And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid.
Matthew 10:30-31a
I don't think I've ever really explained the extent of hair loss I'm expected to have. I think most people (me included at one time) think that chemotherapy means total hair loss. However, all cancer treatment is different and with the chemo I'm taking, I'm not expected to lose my hair. However, from the radiation I'm expected to lose patches of hair where the radiation hits. It may or may not be permenant - but probably will not be. They said to expect it a few weeks after treatment starts. Well...this morning after I showered, I combed hair and was left with a small clump of hair in hand. Yikes! They can tell you it's going to happen, but when it happens, you're really not prepared. I am so very thankful that I won't lose all my hair, but it was still a difficult way to start out the morning.

Hi Staci,
Sorry to hear about your hair, my son Dan had leukemia when he was 19years old, that was 10 years ago. He had chemo/radiation and lost his hair too. Today he is married 3years now and has a 2 year old son. I know prayer got him/us through that terrible time.
Joel Olsteen's mother Jodie Olsteen was healed of terminal Liver cancer I think it was over 20years ago. She said these scriptures three times daily.

Hope you had a happy 4th of July! I think of you all the time. I'm trying to start organizing my basement storage room and keep thinking you would be awesome at it and probably have it all done by now. Little things remind me of you all the time lately. I'm praying for God's hand of protection to cover you, that his mercy would rain down on your life. I pray that his Spirit would be your constant companion and that your days would be filled with an awareness of his work. Thanks for the nice birthday card! I needed it. LOVE YOU! Rachel
Stacie,
No matter what-you will still be the beautiful person that you are...inside & out!
Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through God, who strengthens me."
Your courage & strength are very admirable! Stay tough kid!
Stacie,
Thinking of you and praying for you often. God is working a miracle in your body everyday of your treatment. I am sad to hear that you lost some hair but you have such a great attitude and am amazed at your strength!
